Last Friday, 08 October 2021, the core members of GLOBE convened online to discuss the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on global governance, and how to best integrate these perspectives into the ongoing research programmes.

The fruitful discussion was kicked off by Project Coordinator Jacint Jordana and followed by interventions by all Work Package leaders, reflecting on the repercussions for their respective sectors and research themes. It emerged that the pandemic has affected various sectors in different ways, so each Work Package will design tailored strategies to incorporate the consequences into future deliverables. The discussion closed with an outlook of the remaining project phases, presented by Project Manager Adam Holesch.
